Welcome to our Social Studies Wiki!!!! We will be using this Wiki to collaborate on various classroom activities, discuss issues/concepts in the social studies and review/critique the work of our colleagues in this course. We will be developing this Wiki together to serve our needs as a classroom community endeavoring to share our learning and experiences. Ideally, this Wiki is our vehicle to further explore how social studies can develop critical thinking skills, informational literacy skills and be applied across the curriculum.
The Home Page will also detail the activities for each week of our course and provide guidance on how these activities are to be completed and where they are to be posted on the wiki.

Complete Stages 1 and 2 of the UBD Template to include the Performance Task Blueprint for the GRASPS Performance Assessment. Post this to the Understanding by Design page on the wiki.

Complete the draft of the first lesson in your thematic unit. Post this to the Lesson Plans page.
Week 3: Assignment 3:
Complete the attached group activity and post this to the Oral History Projects page for presentation to the class next Monday.
Complete the Disciplined Inquiry in Social Studies Activity and post this to the Disciplined Inquiry in Social Studies page. Also, when naming the file place the names of the group members as part of the title for this file when you upload it to the Wiki.
